2019: "Hearing Hope, Sustaining Dreams" — Fuxing Elementary String Orchestra Flash Mob Concert

Since its establishment in 2013, the string orchestra at Hualien Fuxing Elementary School has worked to overcome the limited educational resources typical of rural communities. To help local children realize their dream of playing music, the school began by gathering second-hand violins and recruiting music instructors. Passed down through hands and generations, these instruments carry stories of hope and inspiration with every performance.

To support this mission, Azure Hotel hosted a flash mob performance at the main entrance of the hotel—aiming to showcase the talent of rural children in Hualien and send a clear message: with opportunity and encouragement, every child can shine. Guided by our core value of "Sustaining a Beautiful Life," Azure Hotel initiated this flash mob concert to share the transformative power of music while offering young musicians a stage to shine.

Having long dedicated himself to public welfare and community care, Chairman Xu Mu-zhang expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and students of Fuxing Elementary. Following the performance, he invited the orchestra members to enjoy a buffet lunch at the Azure Restaurant on the second floor, spending a warm and relaxing afternoon with the children. This event not only offered encouragement to the young performers, but also embodied our philosophy of community partnership and shared social well-being.
